Traditional performing arts🌟
Long time no see💃
I've been feeling a bit under the weather lately, but I found out it was due to sleep learning. I shouldn't have taken shortcuts, haha!
Changing the subject, I recently went to see a "Kyogen" performance.✨
It was recommended to me as something interesting, and I'm really glad I went.
Nomura Mansaku, who is also a Living National Treasure, is 93 years old.😳
He was playing the role of a mischievous young man, and it's amazing how he could appear that way❗
Nomura Mansai gave the same impression I had of him from movies.😋
Not only was the acting superb, but I was also moved by the fact that I was watching a stage from the Muromachi period right now!\(°o°)/
It's about 600 years ago.🗾
It felt like a strange sensation of time travel...
We can laugh with the same sensibility as back then, and even empathize...
Traditional performing arts are truly amazing.
This time it was only Kyogen, but apparently, it's usually performed between Noh plays.
If I have the chance, I'd like to go see Noh as well.
Well then,
See you later😘
